Beard is an award-winning construction company. Our offices in Swindon and Oxford offer a friendly, committed and efficient construction service throughout central southern England.
We undertake new build, design and build, restoration and refurbishment projects ranging in value up to £10m. We also provide a responsive repair and maintenance service.
Beard provides construction solutions for customers involved in arts and culture, commerce and industry, education, healthcare, and sports and leisure.
Some 85 percent of our turnover results from repeat business, partnership agreements and recommendation.
The company was established in 1892. Our success today is based on traditional craft skills, teamwork and modern management techniques.
Our goal is always to deliver a construction solution that will delight the customer. We succeed by putting together the right team, supported by efficient processes and a reliable and effective supply chain.
Many Beard projects have won awards, and the way we work has earned the Constructing Excellence Award for the implementation of best practice.

We inspect the quality of all work at every stage of the building process. We actively seek customer feedback because it enables us to optimise our already efficient project management processes, and we measure our performance against construction industry key performance indicators.
