Beard has a long track record of successful projects in the education sector.  Many of our partnerships with schools, universities and local education authorities span more than a decade.

We have extensive experience of managing sites close to busy learning environments, and always strive to minimise the impact of building works on the customer's day-to-day operations.

Whether we are undertaking a major construction project or providing an ongoing repair and maintenance service, we plan building activities around the curriculum so that classes remain undisturbed and the new facilities can be ready for the start of term.

Our new build projects range from complete schools to specialist performing arts centres, sports complexes and lecture theatres. We also build and refurbish student accommodation, nursery schools and scientific research facilities.

The volume of business we win from the education sector is steadily growing, along with our reputation for efficiency and being able to understand and fulfil our customers' objectives. 

Some of our customers, appreciating the high level of commitment we bring to every project, have set up formal partnering agreements with Beard. For example, we are building and modernising schools in Oxfordshire as part of a five-year strategic partnering framework agreed with the county council.
