Beard has training partnerships with the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) and the Construction Industry Training Board. We actively encourage our employees to work towards industry qualifications. We have managers working towards CIOB membership, and craftsmen demonstrating their skill and experience to acquire their Construction Skills Certificate Scheme (CSCS) accreditation.
We expect our managers to demonstrate superb people skills, and we have a two-year training programme in place to support them. They in turn support and coach the trainee surveyors and estimators at each of our offices. Our apprentices learn from their college tutors, but our own trained craftsmen support and coach their
day-to-day development.
